Blizzard Entertainment has rolled out a fresh batch of hotfixes for World of Warcraft as of February 26, 2025, targeting various issues across multiple expansions and game modes. These updates aim to enhance gameplay by addressing bugs and improving overall player experience.

Achievements

  • Read Between the Lines: Players can now reliably earn this achievement by reading the Misplaced Work Order, ensuring that all lore enthusiasts can complete their collections without a hitch.

Delves

  • Brann Configuration: An issue preventing newcomers from configuring Brann's role and abilities in Delves has been fixed. Now, all adventurers, regardless of their experience level, can customize Brann to suit their strategic needs.

Items and Rewards

  • Great Vault Progression: A pesky bug that stopped delves and world activities from contributing to Great Vault progress has been squashed. Starting next week, the Great Vault will begin dispensing Season 1 rewards, so get ready to reap the benefits of your hard-earned efforts.

  • Surge Pricing Event: The task requirement for the Extravagant Tip Chest has been reduced from 250 to 150 Shipping and Handling Tasks, making it more attainable for players looking to cash in on this world event.

  • Adventurer's Warbound Gear: Finley’s Undercoin shop had a slight hiccup where items were generating at incorrect item levels. This has been corrected, ensuring that your purchases match the power you expect.

Quests

  • Contract Work: Players who found themselves without tasks after selecting a Cartel can now reselect their Cartel for their Warband, ensuring no one is left without gainful employment in the bustling markets.

  • Grimla's Adventures: Grimla has been known to take unplanned vacations during quests like “The Grimla Express,” “Split Venture,” and “Welcome to Undermine.” She’s now committed to sticking around, ensuring your questing experience remains uninterrupted.

Undermine

  • Lootable Items: The Suspicious Book and Fireworks Hat were playing hard to get, disappearing prematurely before players could loot them. This issue has been resolved, and affected players will receive these items via in-game mail within an hour.

  • Surge Pricing Adjustments: To make the highest reward tier more accessible, the required tasks have been reduced from 250 to 150. Now, more players can enjoy the fruits of their labor without the grind feeling like a Kodo stampede.

  • Paper Delivery Job: Newspaper Bundles were stubbornly sticking around even after players canceled the job. This has been fixed, and any lingering bundles should now disappear as expected, lightening your load and your worries.

These hotfixes demonstrate Blizzard's ongoing commitment to refining the World of Warcraft experience. By addressing player-reported issues promptly, they ensure that adventurers can focus on what they do best: exploring, questing, and conquering new challenges. As always, players are encouraged to report any anomalies they encounter, as community feedback is invaluable in the continuous journey to perfect the realms of Azeroth and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates, and may your adventures be ever rewarding!
