what to do if you get banned in World of Warcraft

Heres what i learned from my experiance, when i was banned for powerleveling.

So i buy a 70-80 powerlevel for my mage, and then i get a thing from gamepal that says blahblah blah account banned no refund blah blah.

I get on live help, they say im toast.

So im freaking out. ive played this account since release and i AM NOT losing it.
i get an email from blizz saying your perma banned.

These are my tips for getting your account back in one piece:

1. DO NOT CALL BLIZZARD OR GET ON LIVE CHAT!
While this may seem the fastest and easiest way, the one thing i was afraid of, was them backing me into a corner/making me change my story. if you say MY BRO WAS ON IT, then 10 minutes in you go IT GOT HAXXORED. its going to be a red flag to anyone your talking to you. and your toast.

HOWEVER, if you were actually hacked and had no hand in getting yourself banned, feel free to call. its especially handy to get your password back etc.

2.SAVE ALL EMAILS BLIZZ SENDS YOU, AND YOU SEND THEM
This, also, may seem like a chore, but it helps. ALOT. when you can read through these emails, and say "here is my story, im sticking to this no matter what they say" then your as good as gold.

3. THE STORY MUST BE BELIEVABLE
The story i used, since my powerleveling was a christmas present, was that my family changed my account password, and i thought "oh, well they must be getting me a christmas present on my WoW account" this is a good story ( i think) and blizz bought it. i said in every email that my folks changed the pass, and when i tried to log on, i couldn't, but i didn't think much of it. then, i got the dreaded ban hammer (said in a much more polite way)

4. BE POLITE. CHECK YOUR SPELLING. NO LEET SPEAK FOR GODS SAKES
think about the people your lying to. a good liar has a good alibi (story), and a "silver-tounge". this means he has good charisma and can talk his way out of just about anything. if you work at blizz, think about what you would rather see, let alone read:
MY ACCNT GOTZ HAXED. I DIDNTR GET POWERLEVELS!!!111 GIMME IT BACKX!!!!!1111one
or:
hey, i just got this email that you guys banned my account, it said something about a third party playing my account, and i never have, or will, get my account powerleveled. i was hoping someone could explain to me why this happened, and since i didnt do this, i think my account may have been hacked, or my password was stolen.

5.IF THEY DO UNBAN YOU, DONT GET YOURSELF IN TROUBLE AGAIN
this story is only going to work so many times, dont push your luck. when i got banned, i was TERRIFIED of losing my accnt again, and i stayed clean for at least 3 months, at which point i went back to botting and dabbling in exploits, but whatever. be careful and stay SQUEKY CLEAN for AT LEAST 3 months, and dont do anything heavily for at least 6.

think of this like a half-way house when your just getting out of rehab. you can do some drugs, but you have to watch out for the occasional random urine test.


I hope this helps some people not do something incredibly dumb.
as a final note:

USE COMMON SENSE. ANYTHING NOT LISTED IN THIS SHORT GUIDE SHOULD BE OBVIOUS. DONT ACT SNOTTY OR GET MAD AT BLIZZ. YOU GOT YOURSELF BANNED, THEY DIDNT DO IT FOR YOU!!
