As a druid you will be limited to cloth and leather armor. If you are going to be tanking or doing melee DPS you will want to stick primarily to leather armor but if you are going to be doing DPS as a caster or healing then cloth is perfectly acceptable. Here are the different items that can benefit druids (it's a lot depending on your role, match up the stats to get with what you're doing
to the gear below).

Talent Templates
This is an example base build of the best form I think for grinding (cat form, melee DPS). You can basically stay in the feral tree until you get the talents I recommend, once you have all 55, it's probably best to start into the restoration tree unless you really feel you're missing something in feral.
Rotation Suggestion
Mangle, Rake until desired combo points reached, then Ferocious Bite or Rip depending on how many hit points mob has left.
