Maybe if they would eat more than one type of bamboo there would be more of them. Pandas are legitimately retarded, which is why they're going extinct. Among other things, they have a plethora of health issues induced from lack of will to expend energy. They just sit there and eat all day. They're physically too lazy to breed. Its pretty hilarious that at times, they need to convince the male pandas to mate with the females while the females are in heat, because the males will just ignore it and just eat all day.

If you really want to be technical pandas aren't pandaren. pretty sure if pandas could walk and talk and had their own culture there wouldn't be 1600 left.
