Azeroth viewable from the black temple :O

Imagine Illidan's anger and frustration, looking at his planet from far away, betrayed by his brother and the only woman he loved, banished to the Outlands. :(

For everyone wondering if Azeroth and Outland/Draenor are really that close, no they aren't. Its a cool screenshot and I have one as well, but it isn't canon.

Blizzard has said before that its just an easter egg. Outland/Draenor isn't really that close otherwise we'd be able to see it from Azeroth as well.

Lore-wise nobody really knows where the planets are in relation to each other. Well, the Titans and the Burning Legion probably do.
