Boy is that true... My ex-gf and I met on WoW. She moved to my state and we lived together for a few years pretty happily. Eventually her computer crapped out on her and she quit playing since she was tired of raiding anyway.
Looking back on it now, that really was the beginning of the end. I would have done anything to be able to get her a new computer so we could have kept playing together. It's what brought us together, and I guess once that initial connector was gone everything else fell apart.
Oh, that and she ended up cheating anyway. So yeah.
