Transferring Gold Question (buying/reselling mounts after realm/faction transfer)

Hypothetical here, let's say you purchase the most expensive mount from a vendor, Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak (Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak - Item - World of Warcraft), which costs 120,000 gold. Now there is a 2 hour window to resell this back to the vendor (Uncle Bigpocket) for full price, but does this 2 hour window expire or get canceled when you realm or faction transfer?

My assumption is that it will, but I have not been able to locate information saying one way or another. I have been tempted to do this because the item is not unique, so you could technically carry 7 plus some garrison plans for gold cap.

If anyone has tried this method and can confirm whether or not the 2 hour window is negated by the transfer, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
